Last week, our MAD group, disabilities, went to Washington Elementary School. There we worked with them on arts and crafts, cooking and just having plain fun. We were met with smiling face from the children as we entered the room. Helping them with crafts was fun as we got to see the capabilities. Also helping them with cooking as we rolled hot dogs in dough. We got to receive their loving laughs and excited faces, as we played and ate with them. Just getting to know them more and more as we sat there with them. Learning what it was like for them at school and just the day in general, was an exciting and learning opportunity for our MAD group. We especially can’t wait to go see those happy once again.
